Element Boron was discovered in 1808 by Joseph Lovis Boron was discovered when Sir Humphrey put potassium and boric acid together which created Boron. Boron has a lot of uses, Boron is used for laundery products as a softner, boron has also been used for some rockets as an ignition source. The properties of Boron are its melting point is 2079 C and its boiling point is 2550 C. Boron is important because it is used to make pyrex
glass, fibreglass, detergents,and bleaches.
