Oxygen
The Discoverer of Oxygen is Mr.Carl Wilhelm Scheele. He was born in Dec 9th 1742.He and another person named Joseph Priestley discovered Oxygen. Mr.Carl Wilhelm Scheele he died in May 21 1786. Oxygen has 8 protons, 8 electrons and 8 nuetrons, because oxygen atomic mass is 16 16-8=8. Oxygen's boiling point is -297.3°F (-183°C). Oxygen's melting point is -361.8°F (-218.8°C)
The Element I am researching Oxygen. The symbol for this element O . The atomic number for this element is 8. It's natural state is a Gas . Oxygen color is regularly clear. The elements group name would be a Non-metal.
This element was discovered: "1774. some physical properties is... its rough, clear, smeless and its breathable. This element would be considerd important because with out it we would not be a living species.
This is a list of 8 examples of were this element is found...
1.)Humans Breathing
2.)Fan
3.)A/C
4.)Scuba tanks
5.)Blow dryers
6.)Bag of chips
7.)Soda cans
8.)Life vests
9.)Jet turbines
10.)Experiments
11.)Plastics
If you had Oxygen and hydrogen in the same room and you set the room on fire it would explode. That's because oxygen is very reactive. Also if you breathe in too much oxygen you can die...
The earth is 3/4 water. Inside the water is oxygen like we breathe air on the surface water creatures like fish breathe the oxygen in the water.
Also 50% of the earth's crust is made up of oxgen so that means if you pick or dig something up half of whats made up of the item is oxygen.
